Painted in the Spring and Summer, Jonah's "Landscapes" depict the beauty of the Bulgarian countryside. Being known for its rose and sunflower fields, Jonah found bright colors, and deep landscapes. Living in Vidin Jonah was far from the rose fields. Being geographically distant, Jonah felt somewhat detached from these fields. As a result, he chose to paint these landscapes in an abstract fashion, imagining what they might look like.
